Summer School of Excellence

July 9, 2018 - July 13, 2018 | Ages 16 - 18

This camp provides rising high school juniors and seniors a five-day intensive laboratory and field research experience in the life sciences. Camp participants work alongside Gannon faculty members and students to explore the ecology and health of coastal areas. Students will learn about careers in coastal zone management, ecology, biodiversity and other areas of biology, as well as science education, biochemistry, chemistry and the health professions. Participants will study Lake Erie and Presque Isle Bay aboard Gannon University’s research vessel, the Environaut, and gain hand-son experience in Gannon’s Patient Simulation Center.
