Summer School of Excellence

July 8, 2019 - July 17, 2019 | Ages 16 - 18

This camp provides high-achieving and ambitious high school juniors and seniors (as of fall 2019) a eight-day intensive laboratory and field research experience in the sciences and engineering. Camp participants work alongside Gannon faculty members and students to explore the ecology and health of coastal areas and water bodies. Students will learn about careers in coastal zone management, ecology, and other areas of biology, as well as environmental science and engineering and chemistry. Participants will study Lake Erie and Presque Isle Bay aboard Gannon University’s research vessel, the Environaut. This experience is sure to make your summer memorable.
