Girls Freestyle Wrestling

June 28, 2019 - June 30, 2019 | Ages 8-18

Join us on the mats for Gannon University’s second annual girls-only freestyle wrestling camp. Receive hands-on instruction in basic wrestling stance, position and takedowns, and gain exposure to more advanced technique and strategy such as set-ups, finishes and drilling. Learn about technical skill development, proper nutrition and hydration, and the implementation of mental skills training, all while having fun with other girls who enjoy the same sport as you. Overnight residence and commuter camp options are available. Also included is a coach-athlete Q & A session about college wrestling opportunities.
